Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the all-new Seahorse Pier, home to the Weedy Seadragon breeding program and seahorse breeding facility. Journey through the paternity ward and learn all there is to know about the secret underwater world of these enchanting creatures. You can even help feed the precious babies with live shrimp.

Penguin Passport:

Put on some Antarctic snow gear for a 45-minute journey onto the ice to sit among majestic King and cheeky Gentoo penguins. Go to the food preparation and veterinary areas, and learn how the state-of-the-art exhibit maintains its sub-zero temperatures.

Behind the Scenes Tour:

Get an in-depth look at Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium's main back of house area. Highlights include huge stingrays fed right in front of you, as well as animals that glide right next to you as you stand on top of the 2.2 million liter Oceanarium. Access the Aquarium’s food preparation area, vet office and research laboratory, dive zone, and quarantine area.

Fish Feeding:

Suitable for all ages, the fish feeding experience allows direct access to the top of Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium’s 2.2 million liter Oceanarium, where you can feed the fish by throwing specially-developed, and highly nutritious food pellets directly into the water. Hundreds of brightly-colored blue-line snapper, salmon, and bream will immediately come to the surface, creating a huge swirl of activity right in front of you!
